The event attracted 1,487 artisans from 11 provinces and cities who registered to participate. Highlights included cultural exchanges and performances of ethnic music and musical instruments; a reenactment of the ceremony celebrating the new communal house; an exhibition of the Gia Lai Gong Culture Space; a street festival; an art program called "Gong Festival Night"; cultural exchanges showcasing traditional ethnic cultures; and a market introducing local products. During this time, the province also organized activities to promote tourism, introduce characteristic agricultural products, honor Gia Lai coffee, and display traditional cultural artifacts of ethnic groups. The Wild Sunflower Week - Chu Dang Ya Volcano took place in the Ia Gri village area - Chu Dang Ya volcano, Bien Ho commune, aiming to promote the beauty of wild sunflowers associated with this scenic spot. In 2018, Chu Dang Ya was voted among the top 10 most attractive destinations in Vietnam and the top 10 most beautiful volcanic craters in the world.
