MANILA, Philippines — Streaming platform HBO Max has announced a new premiere date for "Come Dine With Me: Celebrity Philippines," a local edition of the British reality series where participants host dinners for fellow contestants who rate the entire experience.
Twenty (20) local celebrities and public figures have been tapped for the Philippine version. Since debuting in 2005, the original show has been adapted by more than 40 countries.
Confirmed to appear in this 20-episode local edition produced by ABS-CBN Studios are Ogie Alcasid, KaladKaren, Maymay Entrata, Marina Summers, Martin Nievera, among many others.
A poster released by the streaming platform teased some Filipino food favorites like Sisig, Kare-Kare, Pork Barbecue, Isaw, Betamax, Alimango, Adobong Manok, Crispy Pata, and Leche Flan.
"Come Dine With Me: Celebrity Philippines" will premiere on July 23 rather than the 20th, with four new episodes dropping every Thursday.
Also in the Philippine pipeline for HBO Max is Erik Matti's "Call My Manager," a local adaptation of the French comedy show "Call My Agent!" starring Camille Cottin.
The eight-episode show premiering next month stars Judy Ann Santos, Edu Manzano, and RK Bagatsing as talent managers handling the professional crises of their celebrity clients.
