Travis Kelce is considered one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history.

As is Rob Gronkowski, the favorite target of all-time great NFL quarterback Tom Brady.

Brady was the most recent guest on the “New Heights” podcast hosted by the Kelce Brothers. While on the show, the 48-year-old retired signal caller answered a “what if” question about Travis Kelce.

“Silky smooth route runner, incredible feel out there. I think if I played with you, you would have had 110-120 [receptions] a year. Not that you don’t have that with Patrick [Mahomes]. I like your style of play,” Brady said.

Kelce has three NFL seasons with at least 100 receptions, reeling in a career-high 110 in 2022. The superstar tight end recorded at least 1,000 receiving yards in seven consecutive seasons from 2016 to 2022.

Gronkowski never recorded more than 100 receptions in a single season. His career high was 90 catches in 2011, the same season in which he led the league with 17 receiving touchdowns.

Kelce, 36, is entering his 14th season with the Chiefs. After securing 76 catches for 851 yards and five touchdowns in 2025, he shut down retirement rumors and signed a contract extension to continue his NFL career in Kansas City.

The Chiefs will begin their 2026 regular-season schedule with a Week 1 matchup against the Denver Broncos on Sept. 14.
