Delhi v Services, Day 3: Jayant Goyat finishes with his maiden five-for. The 6’4 pacer who plays for Services is from Bhiwani and was part of the Quadrangular U19 squad in 2023. Delhi finish the first innings with 344 with Sumit Mathur (99) and Ayush Doseja top/scoring.
-Update from Samreen Razzaqui-
Sumit Mathur missed out on a century by just one run, falling for 99 as Delhi slipped to 343/9 against Services. It was a frustrating end to an excellent knock, with Mathur unable to get to the three-figure mark.
Bihar are 86/5, with Prithvi Raj and Akash Raj at the crease. They still trail Goa by 204 runs in the second innings and have a lot of work to do to wipe out the deficit. The pair will need to build a substantial partnership to keep Bihar in the contest.
RANJI Day 3 Update Eden Gardens: Start Delayed due to rain
Chandigarh have suffered an early setback on Day 3, losing Arjit Pannu without adding to their overnight score. They are now 49/4 against Tamil Nadu and trail by 522 runs, leaving themselves with a mountain to climb to stay in the contest.
Tripura are 80/5, with Sridam Paul and Sentu Sarkar at the crease. They have stretched their overall lead to 230 runs, but will need to add plenty more to put Saurashtra under pressure with a challenging target. The responsibility is now on the pair to steady the innings and give Tripura a stronger position in the contest.
Karnataka have crossed the 500-run mark, but lost the crucial wicket of KV Aneesh, whose brilliant knock came to an end at 145. The batter had been the mainstay of Karnataka's innings, and his dismissal by Assam's Roshan Alam will come as a big relief for the hosts.
